Please be informed that the Correspondence staff moved to the DELTA Center offices in Smith Kirkley 144 on November 2, 2010.  If you have any questions, please contact the Correspondence Course Division by calling 936.294.1003 or 936.294.3824.

Fall 2010 SHSU Degree Candidates

Enroll by August 26, 2010 all lessons must be submitted the week of November 1-5, 2010 and the final exam application must be submitted the week of November 8-12, 2010 to take the final exam during the week of November 17-19, 2010 and November 22-23, 2010; grades are due December 20, 2010.  SHSU Commencement is December 17 and 18, 2010. (tentative)

Notification time required to take final examination

This office must be notified two weeks in advance of the desired examination date in order to process the request and obtain the examination from the course grader.

These are deadlines; however, we encourage you to submit your lessons at any time prior to these deadlines.

Effective August 1, 2010:  The fee for a 3-credit hour Correspondence Course will be $270.00 and    Sam Houston State University will no longer accept VISA as a form of payment.

 

REGISTRATION - Fall 2008

Effective Fall 2008, as a prerequisite for taking any upper-level class, SHSU students must complete Component Area 1 (ENG 164 and ENG 165), Component Area 2 (freshman-level mathematics), and four hours from Component Area 3 (natural sciences).

Entering transfer students, students having at least 12 hours of college-level work from an accredited institution, will have a one-semester grace period.
